How is Jamie Moyer still employed? He wins, a lot.

In an era of 50 home run seasons and 100 mile per hour fastballs one of the most dominating players throws a 80 mile per hour "fastball". He also throws one of the best change ups in the game a cut fastball, curveball and a 2 seam fastball all with great confidence and accuracy. It wasn't an easy start for Moyer he played on the Cubs twice, Rangers, Cardinals, Tigers, Orioles and Red Sox before finding a home in Seattle in the middle of the 1996 season.
With the Mariners Moyer averaged 14 wins per year for the next 10 seasons, including winning 20 games twice. He was traded to the Phillies in 2006. In 2007 he won 14 games, in 2008 he won 16 at age 46. Moyer is the model of professionalism and consistency that baseball has sorely lacked since he made his debut in 1986.
