To no one's suprise Rick Pitino has kept his job.
Today Louisville's president has declared Rick Pitino to be "our guy". Rick Pitino's past is littered with shady actions. He was alleged numerous times to have illegal pursued recruits at Kentucky and Louisville.
In case you are not familiar with his most recent act of questionable moral judgement he cheated on his wife with a waitress hours after meeting her. She then became pregnant with his child and he gave her $3,000 for an abortion.
The strangest thing about all of this is that Louisville's conditioning coach and close friend of Pitino, Tim Sypher is now married to the women. I'm curious as how those two met. What a great story to tell your kids.
The real shame will be come March when Louisville is in the Final Four and no one will care about Pitino's past. Just like how no one has cared about Kobe Bryant's past.
In sports winning erases all.
