The Brett Favre saga continues and I'm thrilled (seriously).

Multiple sources are now confirming Brett Favre will sign with the Vikings. He is visiting Minnesota today and pending a physical he will be in a Vikings uniform this season, and I couldn't be happier.

Brett Favre did lead the league in interceptions last year while leading the Jets to a monumental second half collapse, but he is entertaining. I'm sick of listening to him saying he can't play then he can. I also think he put the Packers in a real bad situation in '07 by not letting them know he would be coming back until the last minute.

I can understand why he would want to come back. The Vikings are loaded at every position but quarterback. Favre will be handing the ball off to Adrian Peterson who if he stays healthy is as talented as any back in the history of the league. Favre will also be protected by an all pro offensive line.

What is obvious is that Favre wanted nothing to do with training camp. He didn't want to deal with the grind of two practices a day then going back to his dorm and sleeping on a double bed. I wonder how this will sit with his teammates. If he wins it won't be a problem. Michael Strahan also sat out training camp in '07 and the Giants went on to win the Super Bowl and nobody cared. Manny Ramirez also had special privileges while on the Red Sox and he was run out of town when he wasn't helping them win.

One thing is for sure come October 5th and November 1st when the Vikings take on the Packers I will be glued to the television.
