John Calipari's latest hiccup.

University of Kentucky's new head coach John Calipari has been a winner his entire career. He is the only coach to lead two different teams to the NCAA final four. Now he is the only coach to lead two teams to the final four and have both teams season erased from the record books.

The NCAA today announced it would eradicate the 07-08 record setting season of the Memphis men's basketball team coached by Calipari. Derrick Rose who was the Memphis point guard that season had a stand in take his SAT test so he could have a high enough score to be accepted by a division 1 school.

Clearly this isn't Calipari's fault entirely and there is no way to prove that he had anything to do with Rose cheating on the SAT's. Calipari does however have a history of cheating and having questionable judgement.

In 1996 UMass had its final four season erased from the record books because star center Marcus Campy accepted money from and gifts from an agent.

He got into a heap of trouble while coaching the New Jersey Nets by calling reporter Dan Garcia a "fucking Mexican idiot".

In 2001 he lured top recruit Dejaun Wagner to Memphis, shortly after Wagner signed Wagner's dad became the Coordinator of basketball operations for Memphis.

After last season Calipari left Memphis to coach the Kentucky Wildcats signing a huge contract for 8 years and $31 million dollars. Memphis knew what they were getting when they signed Calipari and so does Kentucky: a man that will win at any cost.
