Today's sports news featuring: Joe Pa, Josh McDaniel's, Tracy McGrady, Roy Halladay and Soccer.

Joe Paterno is the real Godfather. Paterno's Nittany Lions are sitting on the outside of the BCS bowl picture at 10-2 in the lackluster Big Ten conference. That doesn't mean he has given up on the season, this weekend Joe Pa let out this gem:
"What do you want me to say? Pick us. Maybe I could get on the phone and call somebody and say, ‘you owe me one,’ or ‘you might find a horse’s head in your bed’."
Not that I'm gonna say anything bad about the man because he might not be joking, but maybe you should concentrate more on beating the only two good teams (Iowa and Ohio State) in your conference and less on getting back at Jack Woltz.
Roy Halladay doesn't want to resign in Toronto. I don't blame him the Blue Jays have never put together a contender since he has been there. Halladay is still the best pitcher in the game and look for the Mets, Cubs, Red Sox, Yankees and pretty much every other nine figure payroll out there looking to unload the farm to get this guy.

The Knicks are looking at trading for Tracy McGrady. They changed their mind on Iverson but are looking at acquiring T-Mac's services. Just what the Knicks need another high priced non-producer. Not that it will matter the Knicks might be able to get into the postseason but won't amount to much after that. It also appears they have given up on signing LeBron this off season.

Josh McDaniel's runs his mouth again. According to San Diego Chargers Shawn Merriman and Stephen Cooper Broncos head coach Josh McDaniel's said that he owns them before Sunday's game. Then he proceeded to give up the AFC west lead and get blown out by the Chargers 32-3. He might want to keep his trap shut at least until they win a game. Isn't it funny how in the off season when he shipped out Cutler McDaniel's was an idiot, then the Broncos started 6-0 and he was a genius, now they have lost four straight he's an idiot again.
Real Salt Lake beats the LA Galaxy for the MLS cup. Who am I kidding I don't care, but at least this game didn't end in a tie, it ended with penalty kicks, and was decided with an epic shank by Landon Donovan. You almost had me soccer, maybe next year.
