The Rundown featuring: Charlie Wies, Derek Jeter, Brian Urlacher, Jay Cutler and Vince Young.
Charlie Wies' future might be decided this week. The fact is Wies has been a huge disappointment in South Bend. Notre Dame brass canceled his recruiting trips and reports are out that his office has been cleaned out. The only reason Wies stays is if Notre Dame doesn't want to shell out ten plus million dollars for his buy out.
Vince Young is a Quarterback all of a sudden. Although its hard to forgive Young for ditching his team last year, its about time we appreciate that this man is playing some ball this year. The Titans started 0-6, then Young was put in and they won five in a row. Coincidence? I think not.
Derek Jeter wins Sports Illustrated sportsman of the year. Further proof that he is the most overrated player in baseball. I don't know how SI in their right mind can give this award to a man who is not even the best player on his own team. How about some love to Albert Pujols, Myron Rolle, Usain Bolt, Kobe Bryant or Manny Pacquiao.
Brian Urlacher throws Jay Cutler under the bus. Urlacher said this about his Quarterback:
Look, I love Jay, and I understand he’s a great player who can take us a long way, and I still have faith in him. But I hate the way our identity has changed. We used to establish the run and wear teams down and try not to make mistakes, and we’d rely on our defense to keep us in the game and make big plays to put us in position to win. Kyle Orton might not be the flashiest quarterback, but the guy is a winner, and that formula worked for us. I hate to say it, but that’s the truth."
In short we shouldn't have traded for Cutler and I want my old Quarterback back. Way to lead from the sideline Urlacher.

Derek Jeter may not be the best of all but he is a good athlete.
